The much-anticipated national exams for students in Goma and Bukavu will take place as scheduled on Monday, according to North Kivu’s Vice Governor, Willy Manzi.
Speaking to Kivu Today on Saturday evening, Manzi assured that all schools must reopen and ensure students sit for their exams without interruption. “All schools must open on Monday. They have to sit for their exams as a must,” he emphasized.
The announcement comes as a relief to parents who had expressed concerns over the uncertain academic calendar. Many are now reassured that their children will not miss this crucial stage of their education despite the prevailing tensions in the region.
As preparations continue, authorities have urged all stakeholders, including school administrators and security forces, to ensure a smooth and secure examination process.
